Department of Management

The untiring efforts of a group of eminent educationists and well-wishers gave birth to K. C. Das Commerce College on 7 November 1983 with one hundred and seven students at Sonaram H.S & Multipurpose School, Bharalumukh, Guwahati. After few years of its inception, Departmentation was made with related subjects as per the guidelines of G.U & Directorate of Higher Education, Assam.

The primary objective of the department is to impart quality education in the field of Management as per the syllabus of ASSEB and G.U. in Higher Secondary and the Degree level respectively.

Therefore, every year the department conducts a field study with its major students. The process started from the session 2001-02. Apart from field survey the department has also been organizing guest lectures, mock interview, debate etc. from time to time as a part of imparting quality education.
